water

you’ll find out how important water is for living if you don’t have it anymore…

it’s quite a long way through dry savanna to finally reach the water hole. it’s crowded – herds of cattle, donkeys, goats led by Maasai people come to drink here.

just like us.

we could also finally wash ourselves and our clothes… what a release!!

… and a very memorable experience, as well!

being among Maasai busy washing their Shúkà, the traditional cloth they wrap around themselves… busy fetching water carried by donkeys… or just having a chat…

on the other hand, i felt being quite observed myself, as well. especially when i brushed my hair or tried to find a lush acacia to take a ‘shower’ – honestly, i immediately got a sunburn!

… though the sun is better than any tumble dryer – my clothes were dry within minutes – only to find out that some materials are just not made to be dried on spiny acacia – i needed more than half an hour to unplug them from this very spiny bush…
