mount meru
… it’s honestly one of my most beloved places on earth.
just being in Nature
surrounded by all those fascinating creatures makes me happy…
as a researcher (after going through a hell of an issuance process for several consecutive permits and paying a fee which would support an African family for years) you finally can work and camp wherever you like inside all National Parks in Tanzania…
it’s an amazing feeling! promise!!
working on top of a hill observing the ongoing experiment… and in the background grazing zebras and waterbucks. bushbuck mom passing you with its little young. listening to the deep sound of galloping buffaloes. majestic elephants. funny warthogs. leopards (unfortunately, only being seen by musa!). laughing hyena. relaxing olive baboons, jumping colobus monkeys. giraffes gazing at me and my weird experiment for hours… beautiful birds. and and and….
and stonechats everywhere…
